Kettering Office
Formerly 10 and 12 West Street (or ‘Mr. Lamb’s Lane’ as it was once known), the firm’s Kettering offices comprise two Grade II listed buildings. Number 10 (“Westbury”) was bought by our founder Henry Lamb as his home in 1817 and has remained as a residence until Captain HJH Lamb had it converted into an extension of the firm’s offices in 1955. Number 12 may in part have been used as a non-conformist meeting house in the 18th century. However Henry Lamb converted the building for use as offices and by 1900 the building was substantially rebuilt to provide accommodation for the County Court and Magistrate’s Clerk’s offices. Although much altered over the years, both buildings now provide charming and attractive office accommodation.
